How to Apply 

The Networks Scholars Application Process & Materials 

 1.    Apply and be admitted to Indiana State University.

To be considered for a Networks Scholarship, you must first apply and be admitted as a full-time student at Indiana State. Admission applications are available through high school guidance offices, from the university by calling 800-472-0891 or online at indstate.edu.

 

2.    Complete the Networks Scholarship application form.

The Networks Scholarship Application must be completed and mailed to the Networks Scholars Selection Committee. Application forms can also be found in the adjacent tab. All application packets must be postmarked by December 1 to receive full consideration from the Networks Scholars Selection Committee.

 

3.    Include a transcript

A sealed transcript from your high school guidance counselor must be obtained and included with each application. If applying for a Networks Scholarship online, a candidate must mail the official transcript to:

4.    Grab a pen.

A one-page typed essay titled “My Career in Financial Services” must accompany your application form. Essays must describe in detail your interest in a career in the financial services industry. 

 

5.    Come recommended.

Two (2) letters of recommendation that specifically address your leadership accomplishments must accompany your application. Letters must be sealed and mailed with your application to the Networks Scholars Selection Committee, and can come from high school teachers, guidance counselors, past employers or any other non-family member familiar with your accomplishments.

 

6.    Highlight your qualifications.

An up-to-date resume that demonstrates your leadership roles and activities must be included. A sample resume is available at indstate.edu/business.
