Networks Financial Institute to Support Business and Cultural Components at Indiana Leadership Summit (June 16, 2005 – Indianapolis, IN) — Dr. John A. Tatom, director of research of Indianapolis-based Networks Financial Institute, an initiative of Indiana State University, will facilitate a session with some of the nation’s leading financial services thought leaders as part of the Indiana Leadership Summit, in Indianapolis on Wednesday, June 22. Financial Services in Indiana: Connecting the Dots for Economic Development will focus on the vital role the Indiana financial services sector plays in an increasingly global economy. Participants in the interactive discussion will include Dr. John Tatom, Kenny McDonald, Senior Vice President of Charlotte Regional Partnership; Michael Mayer, Chair of CRP Board of Directors and Senior Vice President, Bank of America; and Dr. John Weinberg, economist and head of research for the Richmond Federal Reserve Bank.
The scope of Indiana’s economy will broaden during a dinner soiree titled, The Next Indiana Boom, hosted at the Levey Mansion at 6:30 on the 22nd. The soiree is one of five hosted as part of the Indiana Leadership Summit. Hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd Benjamin, the soiree will feature music from the jazz age as the John Spicknall trio performs at the Levey Mansion, home to Networks Financial Institute.
